Who We Are

SKSINTERIORS is an Interior Design and Project Management studio. We harness our client's creative energy and potentials through careful analysis and problem-solving. In doing so, we synthesis design solution that resonates with our clients’ inherent creativity and transcends their spaces beyond expectations.

Base on our philosophy, we believe that everyone has a creative desire or expression knowingly or unknowingly. We take these desires and expressions; combining them with a human-centred approach to design functional and beautiful places. Through this design process, SKSINTERIORS hopes to create emotive places that are impactful for positive change toward human well-being.

Good design can affect us positively, the same as poorly design spaces can affect us negatively. We listen to our clients because they are experts in their environment. We don’t design ‘FOR’ our clients, we co-design 'WITH’ our clients and as a result, creating designs that impact the end-users positively in a way that resonates long after leaving the space.

Our Approach

Human-Centred Design

We define the human-centred approach as the process that ensures our design meets the need of our clients. To meet these needs, we provide a step-by-step transparent design process WITH our clients. With the mindset that the solution exists within our clients’ experiences, we are able to establish a framework that provides clarity to collaborative design solutions.

Inspiration

The inspiration phase is about dropping all preconceived notions about the client or the end-users and learning about their needs and challenges through conversation and observation. There are a wide variety of possibilities, and focusing on the clients’ needs brings about the best solution in this stage.

The most commend methods used in this phase are:

  • Interviews, performing secondary research,

  • planning the steps and millstones.

By understanding our clients’ lifestyle, brand, and philosophy, the design can align with their way of life or the way they do business.

Ideation

This phase is about visualizing, brainstorming, and discussing all possible solutions. By combining parts of each solution and acquiring feedback from the client or end-users; can help hone in on a well-developed design concept that works for everyone.

Before the implementation stage,

  • basic sketches, lists,

  • or small scale model

are used to harness creativity and collect the clients’ or end-users reactions to the concept before the final design.

Implementation

The implementation phase contains the pre-production stage where a prototype is presented to the client and the actual production of the design solution.

This stage of the design process includes:

  • final design documentation,

  • tender document and RFPs,

  • construction and close-out.

When the client or the end-users are involved in the design process, the solution will be adapted.

After some time, a post-occupancy evaluation is provided to analyze how functional and comfortable to design space is.
