For their new store located on Yonge Street, RUNWAY Hair Studio was looking to establish their salon in a stylish shopping district in Toronto. Their mission is to make their clients experience a memorable one as they are.
With a 1,583 square foot, SKSINTERIORS provided branding and décor elements that design an atmosphere of a French fashion model. The name RUNWAY and branding was created with the emphasis on the existing wood floor with recessed metal circles, which embodies a spotlight runway. The cove lighting and chandelier above highlight the runway, making their clients feeling stylish when leaving.
With the dynamic and chic wallcovering that calls for attention and red accent chairs, the design intent for RUNWAY reinforces the unique spotlight service each client receives.
Inspired by the existing wood floor with metal plates and French fashion model, we included serval logo options for the client to consider. The red band represents the runway and the circle, the metal plates. The final design was incorporate as signage on the storefront, business cards, letterheads, service menu, and website.
